The strip of neighbouring properties are fast being converted into multi residential appartments. Local residents look for to new local restaurants and cafes along the strip. The council should be looking forward at what the area is evolving into, and reject any submission for the operation of a brothel. It no longer meets demands from locals. Parking and access is also an issue due to higher density living in the area.
Reject these plans

Residents have already made our feeling known in past applications. I highlight the following:

On 12 November 2009, the City Development Committee determined DA-309/2009 for the continued use of the subject premises as a brothel in conjunction with the existing massage and acupuncture premises by way of refusal. This was contrary to the recommendation of the Director City Planning and the Independent Hearing and Assessment Panel. The application was refused for the following reasons:

0. The application does not comply with the objectives of Development Control Plan 23 because it is not sensitively located, is prominent in the community and is not located at a reasonable distance from where people live and other sensitive land uses.
1. The application does not comply with Part 4 of Development Control Plan 23 which requires such development not to be located within 100 metres walking distance of neighbouring residential areas.
2. The application does not comply with Part 4 of Development Control Plan 23 which requires such development not to be located within 200 metres walking distance of a place of worship.
3. The application does not comply with Part 4 of Development Control Plan 23 because it is not located above ground floor level.
4. The application is likely to result in patron parking in Phillips Avenue and other residential streets contrary to Part 5 of Development Control Plan 23.
5. The application will have an adverse impact on the amenity of the nearby residential neighbourhood.
6. The proposal is not in the public interest.

JRPP, are useless toothless government waste, who fumble around not knowing any Local Area Planning Controls. To scared to go against any Council or Developer.
You are all wasting your time.
