I support this development. Woodford is an ever growing town. Not only do we have constant increase in the local population but also have a consistent stream of visitors.
This service station will create jobs and provide a convenient location for those traveling to kilcoy, Beerwah and Maleny. For people who live in Woodford, we must drive backward to get fuel in order to drive to those locations.

  7. Candice Walsh commented

Something Woodford has needed for a long while. Hopefully it all goes ahead!

  14. Sharon Adams commented

Sadly my little country town is growing up and with this growth there is a huge need for a fuel service station in Woodford. For more than ten years we have supported the Daguilar servos even though it meant driving from outside Woodford to the other side to get to them, often needing to head in a different direction once fuelled up.
I am in full support of this service station, if you build it They will come. Keep the money in our town and not send customers to other small towns to fuel up and spend their dollars.
The growth of our wonderful town is inevitable and this is part of it. Do it right.

  15. Sheila Marchant commented

I fully support this development which is long overdue. It will provide employment opportunities for local residents. Woodford has a large influx of tourists travelling through to other destinations throughout the year and this is one way to ensure that they stop and spend some time here.

  16. Zenia Gilmore commented

    I support this 100%
It will create more jobs in the area. Woodford is growing up, it's still a small town however we need these improvements to make Woodford better! :)

  17. Melissa Reid (was Barlow) commented

  18. Patricia Benson commented

We definitely need one so its a yes from me.

  19. Jess Bateman commented

This is something woodford has needed for so many years. Growing up living opposite an old servo station the amount of travelers that still stop there wanting to get fuel is crazy. I think this would be great for woodford! Definitely for the elderly people who only drive around the woodford town itself.

  20. Christine Ledger commented

Fully support this development. Will make the trip to get fuel a little shorter, current round trip is nearly 20km.

  21. Jessica Southam commented

This will be a huge benefit to the local area. Very much in support of this application!

  22. Kristy Matthews commented

I wholeheartedly believe this development is needed in Woodford and support it 100%.

  23. Shane Bielski commented

I'm in total Support of this new Service station. I don't believe it will subject our children to any undue risk as some believe. Other towns with similar developments have no Problem, and I don't see Woodford being any different.

    Thank you.

  24. ( Jim ) James Robert Hayes commented

I totally support this application. When we moved to Woodford in 1976 there were 4 fuel outlets in the residential and business areas. I never heard one complaint during that period so bring it on and get the service station built. We are in a growing town and we need our own Woodford Service Station

  25. Tanya riggs commented

Totally looking forward to this it will be great

  26. Veronica Sullivan commented

We do need a service station but i don't think that spot is a safe one to many risks. Considering their is emergency services there to it may put lives at risk as people will block the driveway when queuing up for petrol . As the stations aren't manned ones if the driveway is blocked they won't even be able to get into to get trucks out . As i said yes Woodford does need a service station and i do hope they can find a better location. This spot has to many things that could go wrong to many risks to consider.

  27. Bec Smith commented

Can not wait for this to happen! Support 100%

  28. Kimberley Stokes commented

    Supporting this development 100% !!!
Being across the road from woodford school is no different to the servo across the road from saint peters in Caboolture or the one across the road from kilcoy primary.

  29. Colleen Jennings commented

We need this servo to go ahead in Woodford 100% agree. We have to drive through Woodford to get fuel. Then back home..

  30. Paul McMullen commented

Although I agree with the need for, or at least the added convenience of a service station in Woodford I DO NOT SUPPORT a major 24 hour truck stop style roadhouse at this location adjacent to private housing, which will be severely impacted by both noise and light pollution and at an already difficult intersection for both school traffic and entry/exit to Petersen Road. Truck/semi trailer operations at potentially any hour of the day or night will be a horror for adjacent residents - a shocking contrast to the after hours peace and quiet currently enjoyed in this bushy, rural setting.

Also worth consideration is the suitable protection of the permanent spring fed dam on the property. There are many bird species in this nearby area which only exist due to the reliability of this water. From my property I have logged over 100 bird species here during my 33+ years of overlooking this dam, the level of which has varied only slightly even during the drought years (approx 2000-2010).

  31. Rebecca Twemlow commented

    100% support this development .

  32. Loretta O'Connor commented

Yes by all means I support the going ahead of the service station

  33. Dani commented

Supporting. I often work late nights and worry when my tank is starting to run low especially on the drive home. The current fuel stations are only open until 10pm and often i get home past midnight or later. This is a relif to have a fuel station in woodford and i fully support it.

  34. Alisa Allan commented

100% behind this, and location is great!

  35. Leonie Cook commented

Yes , 100 % support for this development, This will be a great thing for the town of Woodford.

  36. Mark Jackson commented

I don't see any issues. I am in support of this.

  37. Annette Smith commented

100% support all of the application

  38. Joyce Donnelly commented

I support 100%. Great for this growing town.

  39. Shelley Van Horssen commented

I cant wait for a local service station. I work long hours and would love to fill up when its convenient with me , and just down the road instead of driving to Wamuran when im tired. We are a growing community with new housing developments going ahead all the time. This service has been needed for some time.

  40. Shirley commented

I support this as the town of Woodford need this as we are a growing town..

  41. Sharon Norton commented

I fully support a service station in the location submitted for Woodford.

  42. Tammy commented

100% support here!! Our community is going ahead whether we like it or not and a service station/food outlet will be a welcome improvement, not just for locals but for our constant stream of travellers. It's about 10yrs overdue so bring it on, and I'm sure a few extra locals jobs won't go astray.

  43. Alina Chambers commented

I believe that this development is needed, and is long overdue. It will be a fantastic edition to Woodford. It will enable more growth of community and offer a much needed emphasis on competitive pricing and quality control.

  44. Chantal Peisker commented

We definitely need this servo in Woodford. It has been a need for a very long time and would benefit the community in many ways including convenience and employment. I am 100% for this development.

  45. Moyra Eeles commented

I absolutely support this development. Woodford is a growing community and needs to move forward. This will create jobs which is great for a growing town.

  46. Chale Horsley commented

I support this development 100% Woodford is continually growing and has been without a service station for too long. This will also create jobs for the community. Whilst I don't currently live in Woodford, I have previously lived there my whole life and intend on returning in the near future so will personally benefit from the convenience of a local service station.

  47. Jacqui upson commented

Definitely the servo but not fast food, how about a healthier alternative or a local produce grocery or farmers produce store

  48. Celeste Colthup commented

I support the development. It is needed in town and no I don't think it will be an issue with the school or firies/ambos.

  49. Diane Sattler commented

Yes Woodford needs a Servo but not there and not that big. Do we really need a truck stop and fast food outlets?? A round-about? No! This will take trade away from the fast food outlets in town. I feel for the people who live close to that site if this goes ahead. There must be a better location further out of town.

  50. Patricia Atherton commented

I am in Full support for this. Woodford has long needed a service station.

  51. Lee Wright commented

I support the plan for the servo at Woodford. Thanks.

  52. Lees Family commented

I totally disagree with the location of the servo. Next to a emergency services and across from a school. Kids will be tempted by the fast food outlet so therefore crossing a main road and then dodging vehicles at the servo (I see this first hand happening near where i work). Fast food...isnt there an obesity epidemic as it is? Its only my opinion but i feel the location of a servo would be better near the Beewah-Kilcoy intersection which would service vehicles traveling in both directions and a little bit out of town where it wont hinder residents, children and traffic.

  53. tyna faddy commented

bring it on....if woodford is to plow on with tourist trade, festival and not to mention our local farmers and workers,we need this!!!

  54. vic wirth commented

yes we need this....as a small business owner I 100% support this.

  55. Mary young commented

The best thing ever for woodford
