Works consist of internal alterations and new openings (louvres) to the external wall at ground floor facing the Galeries walkway (to Pitt Street) at the northern elevation of the hotel. The proposed hours of operation of the outdoor gaming area are between 10.00am and 4.00am the following day, Mondays to Saturdays, and 10.00am to 2.00am the following day, Sundays. The proposal is Integrated Development under the Heritage Act 1977 requiring the approval of NSW Heritage Council.
