the density of this proposal is out of keeping with this area. It reflects a creeping effect of excessive development numbing expectations so that something as dene as this can even be proposed in this area.
Please ensure that the density of this development is reduced.

I find this development a bit over the top. Ten (10) townhouses?
Next door (88-90) is double the size of 92 and has only seven (7) townhouses.
Again, where do all the resident's cars park when there could be up to four (4) people living in each townhouse? Our streets are being choked.

Consider the long term locals of Sutherland Shire.
Listen to the locals before it's too late.
    PROBLEMS:
Traffic , sporting areas , transport . roads being blocked with parking issues especially on garbage nights
    Sewerage & all other services.
Think before before it's too late !
    From a very concerned family.

Please insist that there are additional trees planted. The plans show that many trees are being removed including many healthy trees. Please replace the removed trees with suitable trees for the area such as angophora, eucalypts, melaleuca, etc
The property next door presents as very treeless - having what amounts to 5 blocks in a row with very few trees will create a feeling of concrete and masonry for a big chunk of the streetscape.

What an ugly over-crowded development this proposed plan is. Ten square box unimaginerary, townhouses. Unfortunately they will be our neighbours. Our home of 19 years backs onto part of this complex. We love our home with its green leafy outlook, which is home to Kookaburras, rainbow lorikeets to name a few of the birds.
When we built 19 years ago, this whole Burraneer pocket was zoned for residential and in some cases if land size permitted, a duplex. So this is what happens when you vote for the party whose major committment is to “stop over-development”. Large developments of this nature, should be only partly townhouses, and mainly single storey villas, and a third of the size of 92-96 Burraneer Bay Road. If council had done their homework, they will know how busy a traffic area Burraneer Bay Road is, with little or no street parking, and yet only two visitor car spaces are allocated in this new development. Cronulla to Sutherland is now a spoilt, overcrowded, mess. Why cant developments of this nature be built in areas where there is room, Heathcote ,Helensburg, and further south, to mention a few. But the Council Greed with the prospect of ten x council rates, as opposed to three previously, is no doubt the major consideration. The ruination of what was a lovely area, and the future boring outlook of boxed in masonary ghetto-looking townhouses, for Craig Street and many also in Dominic street, is of no concern to council. If we choose to live in that sort of environment, we would move to Newtown or Redfern. Beware what |Party you vote for.

Everything you say is true Leonie. More of these cheap, ugly developments are happening everywhere around the Cronulla Area. (next door to me too) Society is also changing around Cronulla. There are a lot of "oldies" wanting & needing to down size and stay here. These ugly inappropriate two story dwellings and multi story developments will keep you poor with their extortionate strata levies. Most inappropriate. I'd like to know where the 'over 55' single level dwellings are being built these days, ...like, nowhere in Cronulla!

Is 92 Burraneer Bay Road being consolidated with another property ?

I can't see such a development of this size being approved on the the land of 92 alone.

    Can someone explain please ?
