I am concerned a very large second storey window currently being built at the rear of this house will overlook my property. Is this allowed under the rules concerning privacy regulations? I would like to object to clear glass being installed.

Firstly, I was never notified that there was a planning application in place.
Secondly, there is a very large, extension with an all glass back wall and apparent balcony that directly overlooks 3 established swimming pools (44,46 Inverness Way and 13 Balwyn road) and the respective backyards / private open spaces of each of these properties. When I previously enquired with Council as to the nature of the construction, I was informed that the back wall of 71 The Boulevard would only have a long, "thin" horizontal window facing our direction (towards the 3 back gardens, 3 pools my master bedroom, living and meals area). What is being constructed now is a back wall with clear floor to ceiling glass over at least 2 stories, where the glass walls slide open, so I assume there is a balcony on its way.

The structure is large, imposing and has reduced the privacy and amenity of my property (which I paid dearly for). Most disturbingly, there is no consistency between what Council has informed me and what has been built.

May someone please ensure that the plans approved are the ones that are being built
