- Section 96(2) modification of consent for the continued use of the Sydney Observatory for private and corporate licensed events and installation of a temporary marquee structure (20m x 10m). The proposed use will occur for five 30 day periods from 22 November 2013 until 13 December 2015. Proposed changes are to allow the extension of the use of the marquee until March 2019 and amend the approved trading hours. Current approved hours are restricted to between 6.00pm and 12 midnight Monday to Sunday. Proposed hours of operation are 7.00am and 12 midnight Monday to Friday and between 9.00am and 12 midnight on weekends and public holidays to allow functions to take place during the day. The application is integrated development and requires approval from the NSW Heritage Office.
