- Atollon is a branding and creative studio that recently relocated to 208 Argyle Street, Fitzroy after nearly ten years of operation. We propose a small illuminated lightbox sign to identify the studio, assist visitor wayfinding and establish a modest presence within the local streetscape. Positioned for visibility from both Argyle Street and Smith Street, it will help clients, collaborators and suppliers locate the office. The rounded, slightly retro design has been developed to complement the character and proportions of the building. It contains only the Atollon name, with no promotional messaging or changing content. The sign will use low-brightness, warm illumination to create a subtle glow. It will operate on a timer for limited hours around dusk and will not remain on overnight. There will be no flashing, pulsing or colour-changing light. The proposal is modest, site-appropriate and designed to avoid unreasonable visual or amenity impacts.
