Description

Remove four (4) Giant Arborvitae from the back yard on the south side boundary and replace with one (1) medium-sized local native hedge from Council’s Development Control Plan 2022, Annexure B3-2 Tree Canopy Replacement Planting List, of minimum 45L pot size, anywhere on the property, within one (1) month of removal. These trees were planted as a hedge but have not been maintained as such and have now grown into full trees that are now unmanageable; they are unable to be restored to a hedge without compromising the trees' structure. Eastern hedge: (exempt) The hedge along the eastern boundary may be pruned without Council permission as per Council's Tree Management Policy: Pruning of a hedge (a group of two or more trees rising to an above ground height greater than 2.5m) by no more than 20% of its height within any 12-month period.
