Yes, more residential development is required but 17 dwellings at this potentially congested location (that will most likely be of a design & build that will again not be in character with this town) is pure developer greed. The removal of vegetation & canopy trees when the science says more is needed is plain ignorance. & please explain who will monitor what happens when 17x2 extra bins are blocking a residential court on bin collection days?
Reduce the number of dwellings & please employ the sense to develop without compromising the environment & wildlife.

There are so many reasons why this subdivision should not be allowed to go ahead. To remove all the native vegetation and canopy tree some of which some would be over 30 years old (and not sick), home to so many Australian native species, Black cockatoo, ring tailed possums, sugar gliders, parrots and so many more. This land is also at the end of a dead end road and the frontage of both these properties is around 45 to 50 metres. There are already 2 driveways at the end of this road both again with very small frontages so on bin collection day, only with the new subdivision there would be an extra 34 bins in the street and on the extra week when it is glass pick up there would be 51 bins, so I am not sure how this would work no room for residents to get in there driveways and not sure how impressed the garbage collector would be in trying to pick up all these extra bins and turn his truck around it is difficult enough at the moment. I am sure that these residents will be having visitors as well and where will they park, there is no room at the moment to park in the street. Most importantly the residence who are living there at the moment and have for many years don't want their sanctuary turned upside down. If this is going to be a subdivision 8 homes maximum with there own street and saving as much vegetation and canopy trees as possible.
