Remove two (2) Cupressus leylandii (Leighton green) hedges from the backyard, along the southern and eastern boundaries and replace with one (1) medium size local native hedge from Council’s Preferred Tree list, of minimum 45L pot size, anywhere on the property, within one (1) month of removal. These hedges are an inappropriate species for small residential backyard. Replace with medium size native hedge that can be maintained at a suitable height. NB: A hedge consists of three (3) or more trees planted together.
