I wish to raise concerns regarding the proposed development at 49 Thompson Avenue, Moorebank (View application). It appears that elements of the development may already be partially established, raising questions about compliance and approval sequencing. There are significant privacy concerns, particularly with upper-level windows overlooking neighbouring properties, including direct views into backyards and pools, and a lack of appropriate privacy screening. The current boundary fencing is inadequate in both condition and height, posing safety and privacy risks, and should be upgraded accordingly. Additionally, there are serious concerns regarding parking and traffic, as the street lacks sufficient parking infrastructure and footpaths, which may create safety hazards and congestion. Consideration should also be given to potential overlooking, noise impacts, stormwater management, and overall compliance with local planning controls to ensure the development does not negatively impact the amenity of surrounding residents.
