If this relates to the increase in height from the 3 original storeys to 5, measuring just under 20 m in height plus a rooftop terrace, I strongly disagree. This sets an unreasonable precedent for the area which is currently zoned to a maximum building height of 12 m. Factors such as shade, traffic, privacy and visitor parking without any improvements in surrounding infrastructure need to be taken into account. One a precedent like this has been set, all future developers will feel free to pursue an equivalent height and, it is only a matter of time before a further application to revert to the previous number of units per floor prior to these new changes occurs. This will make the building even higher density living with an even greater impact on the local infrastructure.
