I can see from the planning documents that the Arborist recommends to remove one of the 7 trees from this lot.

I live in Magill because of the birdsong, the bees in my garden, the bluetongue lizards I see on my walks around the area. Backyard trees are the foundation of it all. If we keep removing residential trees, the local ecosystem will collapse. It cannot survive on pockets in reserves.

So, while it would be preferable to retain all of the trees, I can see the removal of one allows the house to be built. But I would encourage full prosecution of the accountable party if any further tree damage/removal occurs to strongly discourage Developers from turning our leafy suburb into a post-Apocalyptic, barren wasteland.
