- A council-booked hard rubbish collection was recently set on fire by an arsonist, causing severe damage to a Paperbark (Melaleuca quinquenervia) on the property. The tree’s trunk and lower canopy have been extensively burnt, leaving it structurally unsafe with a high risk of failure. Its proximity to a water meter also raises concerns about potential root interference. We are submitting this planning permit application for the full removal of the tree, including stump grinding, to address safety risks and protect nearby infrastructure.
