This semi-mature tree is in an unsuitable and unsustainable location, its root system is up against the building and surface roots are present through the concreted rear yard. It has insufficient space to mature without causing ongoing damage to infrastructure. As there is insufficient greenspace to accommodate a mature tree of similar dimensions at maturity, the applicant is to contribute with two (2) one-off payments to the Offset Tree Planting program.
