Hello,

Again the devastation and constant requests to remove trees will environmentally impact our LGA. Please do not approve and consider other options to proceed. Why is it that the removal of trees is required?

Please do not remove trees - the few we have remaining in Marrickville.

Thank you

Regarding this request to prune/remove trees: I know that the Addi Road Centre does its best to preserve trees and protect wildlife habitat.
They spend a lot of money on expert arborists to protect and preserve their trees. Unfortunately, if an arborist recommends removal, and nothing is done then the centre has to follow that advice. Like other living things, trees do get old and frail and sometimes need to be replaced. Pruning helps protect trees against leggy growth which would make the whole tree unstable and liable for removal.
Unlike council, Addi Road will plant new trees and nurture them to ensure they flourish.
