The significant tree must be retained: there are ways for developers and council to achieve their dollar goals without completely destroying habitat. I know of one home in Toorak Gardens that retained a significant tree, which greatly enhances the property and those of its surrounding neighbours. Stop destroying these beautiful old ecosystems.
