The proposal substantially increases the number of seats on the footpath. For those of us who live locally, the current seating on Burton St is already a significant obstruction especially on the numerous days the wheelie bins are on the footpath. Pedestrians need to run an obstacle course around tables, overgrown trees, food delivery kids and their bike, ride share bikes, bikes being ridden on the footpath, people standing around the bus stop etc etc. The tables on Forbes st already make it difficult to walk down that part of the street.

These are narrow footpaths, I walk along here every day and it's already difficult for pedestrians, the proposal will make these footpath much less usable for pedestrians.
