The shed which was built more than 12 months ago is well set back on site. My concern is that the purpose of this structure and additional dome area proposed in building application do not fit domestic and residential storage use.
The current site has a number of industrial size plant and equipment pieces located in and around the "new" shed, including piles of steel structures (look like rail sleepers and steel rail). The purpose of the new building structures is more fitting for light industrial storage which I would have thought would be subject to more conditions relating to surface water run off, effluent and waste disposal, noise and screening.
As such my objection/cause of concern to the proposed application is the definition of what the true purpose of the site is for.
The site is bare of any significant vegetation due to its previous use as a piggery. I would strongly support the requirement of screening plants be a condition of planning approval (preferably local native/indigenous species) on the Landrace Rd site of the property.
