- Establishment of a hard rock quarry. A 4.96 hectares (ha) quarry pit is proposed, with a maximum rate of extraction of up to 300,000 tonnes per annum. It is estimated that a resource of approximately 2.76 million tonnes (Mt) will be extracted from the proposed quarry, generating up to between 35-45 loaded quarry trucks per day. Access to the quarry is to be from from Puddledock Road. The estimated life of quarry is 10-15 years, depending on market demand + 2 year maintenance period following rehabilitation.
