Gingo another dual house on a single property. Eventhough I have no basic conflict with these developments, I ask the local Councils, WHAT are you proposing to do about the increased vehicular movement these developments bring. With two new cottages, at lease doubling the vehicles, caravans, boats and/or box trailers etc passing through our already congested (and pot holed) roads, kerbs full now. These developments may be GREAT for Council rate revenues but a benefit to us local residences without upgraded infrastructure. WHAT improvements are the Local Councils proposing???

Will parking be part of what’s looked at during approval? Think about when the owner and his family purchases new things like a caravan, boat, or trailer.
Our streets are already packed with cars, and sometimes you have to pull into a driveway just to let another car get by.
What does the council say about the parking?
Over development is par for the course these days. A granny flat doesn't need a garage BUT find me a granny that doesn't drive. The Garden Shire is rapidly becoming an urban jungle. State governments of both persuasions to blame - councils merely operating on the greed factor. We are heading for the good old days of inner city terraces - no cars or garages would be a blessing.
Planning is a shambles.
