- Remove one (1) Ficus benjamina from the back garden and replace with one (1) small-sized local native tree from Council’s Development Control Plan 2022, Annexure B3-2 Tree Canopy Replacement Planting List, of minimum 45L pot size, anywhere on the property, within one (1) month of removal. The applicant is to also enter into a deed of agreement with Council for the planting of one (1) replacement tree on public land by Council. The applicant shall contribute to Council’s Offset Tree Planting program with one (1) one-off payments totalling $632.21 to contribute to the supply, planting and 12-month maintenance of one (1) tree on Council owned land, as per Waverley Development Control Plan (DCP) 2022; Part B3 – Landscaping, Biodiversity and Vegetation Preservation, section 3.2.4 – Tree Canopy and Council’s Pricing Policy, Fees and Charges. This tree has insufficient space to mature; there were buttress roots present and its trunk is within proximity to the neighbouring fence which it will soon impact. It is recommended that it be removed and replaced before they reach massive proportions and causes further damage to structures.
