Description

Temporary artwork at MLC Centre. It is proposed to illuminate the steel gantries beneath for the first stage construction platform as a temporary artwork by Australian artist Matthew Johnson. The artwork will also make use of the existing light fixtures around the base of the 'drums' (also know as the mushrooms) located adjacent to Martin Place and King Street. The artwork will operate from 7am to 11pm daily and will be in place until facade remediation works are complete (approximately end 2015).
