There are existing mature trees on this allotment. How many of them are going to be kept and how many do the owners want to remove? I would object to wholesale removal of existing trees when this neighbourhood has always been garden and tree friendly. We would expect the owners to have regard for the wishes of the community and not run roughshod over us, and we expect the Gold Coast City Council to support the sort of neighbourhood we are living in - some of us for decades.
