We would hope that traffic would be a consideration when reviewing this application. More and more blocks are being subdivided in this area with a speed limit of 70kms per hour. Even the entrance to Parkridge drive onto Jones Rd has a speed limit of 70kms an hour which is a completely inappropriate speed limit in a residential area, where lots of children are riding their bikes or walking.

It would be wonderful if Council would consider the traffic situation leaving Jones Rd - where residents have to make a left turn only and then drive down the road and make a u turn in order to go to Toowoomba. There is also no pedestrian access across the highway for families to be able to walk to the park located on the other side of the highway. Unfortunately, Withcott seems to be the forgotten town in regards to the Lockyer Valley Council, yet it is such a great place to live.
