I support this DA.

It’ll transform a rundown old building into a modern development, delivering a shopfront for a small business and much-needed housing in a high-demand area. Projects like this are a smart, practical way to tackle Sydney’s housing shortage while boosting foot traffic along Norton St.

I believe this site is owned by CoAsIt (sold to by the inner west council) and forms part of the Italian Cultural Centre and open piazza space in the Forum which they appear to be trying to sell again after the last sale fell through.
This property also falls under the proposed new rezoning along Parramatta road of up to 8 storey buildings. So a proposal for a 3 storey development on this site seems odd seeing as neighbouring buildings have recently been sold and lie empty, presumably for future higher rise development .
