I believe this would be amazing for the community. Having this practice in the community will allow parents to have more access to child care and allow them to go back to work.

I think this is an amazing opportunity for the area, I have done research into this group of childcare centres and they have a top reputation, I work in an area in town with lots of mothers who are desperate for childcare, I don’t understand what the issue is with it being in this area, there is already a family daycare! This centre will provide employment. It will also ease the childcare problem, I strongly hope this opportunity is taken by our council as it won’t come around again. Thank you Cathy
I believe the establishment of a new centre would be highly beneficial, given the significant waiting lists at existing facilities in town—particularly for the infants’ rooms. At present, it is challenging for me to return to full-time employment due to the lack of available placements for my children. The opening of an additional centre would help alleviate these waitlists and provide much-needed support for parents seeking to re-enter the workforce.
A new early learning service would benefit the Lithgow community immensely. This would provide more opportunities for educators to enter the sector, Inturn providing pathways to further learning and training opportunities as well as giving families the ability to access childcare and return to work.
I believe an additional child care centre within the Lithgow community particularly in this area would be a huge benefit for a number of families.
Not only is it a great central location, it would help reduce the stress of the limited availability of care for young children and their families and also reduce the stress on current services whom have long wait lists.
I am the owner of my own Family Day Care and I know first hand the demand for care within our area.
It will provide our community with increased opportunities for quality care which is extremely important in the early years.
I believe this would be an amazing opportunity for many families and young children and also providing job opportunities locally.
When I returned to the workforce, I was under so much pressure financially and I was unable to find care straight away.
The demand for quality childhood education is so essential within our community.
The cost of living demands parents to return to the workforce and with the extended wait lists this causes excessive stress for families.
This will not only provide parents with comfort and support returning to the workforce, but it will allow additional employment opportunities for early childhood professionals.
Not only for experienced staff but young people looking for an opportunity to work in early childhood.
This will benefit our community in a variety of different ways- bringing families into our community rather then turning them away.
I think having a quality child care is important for us as a parent and also for the community. Not only impact the children development and well-being, but also fosters their intellectual, social, and emotional growth, for better future.
As an expectant parent, I'm already feeling the stress of finding suitable childcare for when I return to work. The current waitlists are overwhelming, and the lack of available spaces makes it incredibly difficult to plan ahead. A new childcare centre in our town would not only relieve this pressure for families like mine but also support parents, especially mothers who want to return to the workforce without sacrificing quality care for their children. This is a much-needed service for our growing community. It also comes with the added benefit of creating job opportunities locally!
This is a business that is highly needed in Lithgow as there are limited spots across the area. It would benefit a lot of families in the area with small children. I have researched this company and they have high regards from those using there other facilities and I don’t think this facility would be any different they will be there to help families and their children to a great education.
This is a great opportunity to allow the growing population and workforce of Lithgow. Much needed
This would be a great service for the area. The existing centres have long waiting lists and having another centre open would help to alleviate this.
I believe having a new centre would benefit lots of families within the area, especially considering the wait lists at current centres in the region. It will also be a great opportunity for people within the childcare industry.
I believe an additional childcare centre in Lithgow is needed. The waitlists for existing centres are long and are preventative for parents returning to the workforce. Providing capacity for additional care in the community would allow for greater engagement of suitably qualified workers in local industry.
As an expectant mother, my husband and I are hoping to move to Lithgow to raise our family close to loved ones—but one of our biggest concerns has been the limited access to high-quality childcare. Many centres have long waiting lists, and some don’t have the best reviews, which makes planning for our future very difficult. Opening a 39-place childcare centre at 20 Curtin Place would be a game-changer for young families like ours. It would not only meet a clear need in the community but also make Lithgow a more attractive, practical, and family-friendly place to live and invest in long term.
