Unapproved development – The intention of this application is to formalise work undertaken to the rooftop without approval, originally approved on 11 April 2008 (DA-2008/243). The existing rooftop terrace was built differently to the approved DA, which was unfortunately not disclosed by the previous property owner to the current owner. A DA for alterations to the rooftop terrace was approved on 10 October 2023 and a BIC is required to be granted as per Condition 4 of the DA. This new BIC is also submitted in response to your request to withdraw the previous BIC
