MBRC,

With regard to the development of 77 Sutton Street Redcliffe (DA/2024/5954), we have major concerns regarding the depth and height of the proposed non-compliant building. The underground depth of 3 levels on such a small block of land must surely compromise the surrounding land and properties.
As to the non-compliant height it undermines the integrity of the entire planning process and disregards community expectations for responsible urban development.
Other obvious concerns are the blocking of sunlight, loss of privacy, creating wind tunnels, parking and traffic.
Council should uphold existing planning regulations that protect the character and livability of our community and not the greed of the developer.
