- The proposed work includes the addition of a corridor, the removal of non-period asbestos cladding, the replacement of a degraded timber fence & gate, and other minor work. It is our goal to restore and maintain the heritage character of the existing cottage- which is one of the reasons we were interested in the house initially. The addition of the corridor is to make the house more livable- by not requiring circulation through the bathroom to the back bedroom. This new addition is not visible from the street.
