We do not need another Gym as the Estella one is close by , McDonald’s is definitely not needed out here , as there are plenty in town and we have dominoes , We do need a bakery and healthy food outlets

We already have a gym in Estella. We need restaurants/takeaway eg Fish &chips, Chinese, Thai, Indian food and a bakery.

We don’t want a Maccas out here, we allready have enough traffic as it is.
Hopefully we can all agree a second gym won’t make any money because everyone is already signed up to the current gym.
I’d like to see a cafe with fresh bread and sausage rolls and pies. The servo how ever I’m still iffy about. Make it a apco servo where the fuel is cheaper

Please try and find something more appropriate than another Maccas. There are plenty of better options for our kids than this. Another gym as well when there is one just up the road. Council took 30 years to allow a supermarket and now they are shoving everything here. Maybe the bridge and road upgrades would be a better idea. How about helping the completion of the service station. Now that would be useful.

I am highly supportive of this development. It will be highly convenient for the growing population in the northern suburbs to have food options available without crossing the bridge. Especially to the many university students staying on campus at CSU. It will also be a convenient option for travellers on the highway. More competition with another gym is always welcome, I'm not sure why people see that as a bad thing.

We definitely do not need a McDonald’s out this way…we need to create healthy options for our children and the community. This is not encouraging people to eat better, feel better and live longer. Wagga council you need to think wisely and stop thinking about the money you will receive.

We do not need a second gym out here, we already have one 900m from the Boorooma site. Adding another one won’t make anymore money. People are already signed up to the gym in Estella. We definitely don’t need a 5th McDonald’s store in Wagga. We already have a fast-food chain ‘Domino’s’ situated out in Boorooma. It would be much more convenient to add a bakery/cafe, takeaway (fish&chips, Chinese, Indian, Thai etc restaurants. It would give the people of the northern suburbs abit more variety. The oncoming traffic to the roundabout from Boorooma St and Advocet Dr is already busy enough during the morning&afternoon hours of school/work. 26000 vehicles with an average of 2640 per hour use the Boorooma roundabout DAILY. Now imagine trying to add more traffic to that with the proposed site. Trying to get across the Gobbagombalin bridge in rush hours is hectic, averaging 15-20min added traffic would make that 20-30min. The site would not even be accessible from the highway, people would need to go through Boorooma to access McDonalds. Is that more traffic to be added? People travelling from the south would have already passed the McDonald’s stores in town so why would they need to visit another one? There is a children’s daycare across from Boorooma Plaza for children aged 6weeks-5years in which more added traffic would greatly affect, especially parents/carers dropping&picking up their children; trying to make it to work on time. There are parents in the Boorooma suburb that are worried about more traffic around the daycare. People don’t even know you can access chemist warehouse and Domino’s via Pharlap Pl, they do a full U-Turn on Messenger Avenue to access it. Some people don’t even stop when exiting the plaza on messenger avenue. I personally have almost been hit 3 times on that exit. We are still waiting on the servo to be completed and the supermarket that took council years to approve. How about making the servo in Boorooma 24/7, that would still benefit the CSU students. Maybe one of the 3 out of 4 in Wagga can be turned into 24hrs. There is a McDonalds store accessible from the highway which is NOT even 24hrs, It was once first opened but not enough people were taking advantage of it. Will it work in Boorooma where it isn’t accessible. Is the council going to make another road accessible from the highway?? More thinking definitely needs to go into this matter.
