How can this possibly get approved?? The impact it will have on the local area as well as the wildlife is ridiculous. Those that live in the area aren’t allowed to sub divide their property but this person can go and put 60 houses on their property. The traffic is already overloaded and this will only make it worse. There is platypus in the creek which having this property developed will definitely impact them as well as the bats that were displaced when council approved the development at worongary and all of the trees and vegetation were removed completely. To fit 60 houses on this property you would have to do the same thing and completely destroy the land and habitat of a lot of animals. It’s not as though having these houses built will help with the housing problems on the Gold Coast. They won’t be low cost so that people can afford them. The only people who will benefit from this are the already rich and greedy developers and the Gold Coast council.
