I oppose the removal of these trees on the grounds that there has been considerable tree loss in the area already due the freeway upgrade . Trees provide shelter and homes for local wildlife. The street scape will altered by the removal . It is widely recognised that trees play important part in lowering temperature this is particularly important given climate change and its impact on the environment.

I object to these trees being removed. Moreover there is no reason provided as to why they need to be chopped down. Our local area has lost over 3,000 trees due to the Warringah Freeway upgrade. This is an enormous loss for our wildlife. We cannot afford to have more trees removed without serious investigation by the council officer as to the reasons for the application. Each week there seems to be a new tree removal application in Naremburn area, the long term effect of this can only result in an increase in urban heat and negatively affect air quality.
