Am I missing something or are there no supporting documents? Why do these applications even make it this far with no information. Judging by the satellite images, it appears there is not much in the backyard of this property. Has it already been cleared of trees?

I need to ask the question for this property owner and all of the other requests made to remove trees. Is there something wrong with the trees (dying/fungus, etc)? Is it an invasive species (camphor laurel, etc)? Are roots impacting your home? Or, is is just that trees can be messy? My question is why do many people choose to move into our leafy suburbs and then seek to remove all or most trees from the property?

I live on the Roseville side of Blue Gum Reserve and over the last five years I have noticed the level of noise from across the reserve, more than likely due to the removal of trees. I can now also see much more of the Chatswood skyline from the end of my street. This is evidence of the huge amount of trees being removed to make way for development and because people complain about the mess of trees. Sadly, the Northshore is going to look like every other over-developed suburb before long.
