Gurner Avenue Austral NSW 2179
- Description
- Sydney Waters delivery partner the West Region Delivery Team is delivering 1.9km of DN300 reticulation amplification along Gurner Avenue, Austral to service projected dwelling increase in the SWGA area. We will soon start work to install new drinking water infrastructure along Gurner Avenue, Austral between 194 Gurner Avenue and 110 Seventeenth Avenue. Work is proposed to start 8 March, 2024 and will take approximately 16 weeks to complete. We are anticipating the work to include 10 weeks of major construction, with a further 6 weeks for testing of the new main and connecting it to properties and our network. Our work hours are 7 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday and 8 am to 1 pm Saturday. However, night work will be required when working near the intersections of Fourth Avenue and Seventeenth Avenue to minimise disruption to traffic around the local schools. Night work hours are 7 pm to 6 am, Monday to Saturday morning. Work will primarily involve a direct lay of pipe in the road verge along the Southern side of the road but some work will be required in the road way, either by direct lay or Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD).
