The community, local councillors and Tim James MP recently ended a successful battle against digital advertising being erected on the railway bridge near the Remembrance Garden and succeeded against state planning authority on the basis of its intrusion and inappropriateness.
The Baptist Church is also located in close proximity to the Remembrance Garden.
Such an illuminated and possibly animated signage is an unwelcome addition in this area and would be counter to the principles that recently prevented one on the Albert Av railway bridge.
As well, digital advertising signs are inappropriate at possibly the busiest intersection in Chatswood CBD.
70 Albert Avenue Chatswood NSW 2067.

This sign is completely different to the others proposed on the rail overpass.
In my experience, advertising church times and events are completely different to such other advertising signs.
Most churches are moving towards electronic boards and have been approved in other suburbs with very little objection.
Itβs a good idea.
