It is farcical that the planning authorities don't give access to the information on the application form. When it's 12 trees, it's definately worth investigating. However, if I apply to GIPA for the info, they take ages replying. Even though the GIPA responses are relatively thorough it would be way to late to argue the case to save any trees. It's all very disappointing.

The application to remove 12 trees on a block which already has a house situated on the block seems excessive. Any trees which do not interfere with the foundations, a proposed building extension or drainage should be retained.
