I support this application. We have a dire shortage of hotel accommodation, as demonstrated by the fact airbnb exists. Tourism is critical to many small businesses especially hospitality, and having a mix of uses leads to more vibrant neighbourhoods.

A hotel has no place in this area and the location is terrible, with bad access and limited on street parking. If they were proposing rent controlled bedsits that would be different. We need homes, not hotels. I'm opposed.

I wholeheartedly support the proposed development at 32 Edward Street, Summer Hill. The demolition of the current structures to make way for a three-storey hotel is a fantastic initiative. With thirteen well-designed rooms, this hotel promises to be a valuable addition to our community, boosting local tourism and economy. I am excited about the potential this development holds for enhancing Summer Hill's appeal as a destination and contributing positively to our neighbourhood's vibrancy.

A three storey hotel on this tiny block is a terrible and also dangerous proposition. The intersection on which the proposed hotel is situated is notorious for accidents. I live right near the corner and have witnessed a number of collisions, and many near misses with pedestrians and oncoming traffic. Ubers and taxis have nowhere safe to collect or drop off people. It’s a fatality with hotel patrons just waiting to happen. Noise disturbance to nearby residents will be problematic. A hotel is not in keeping with the residential nature of this area, nor is it safe.
