There is an enormous tree on this land which we believe its on Councils notable tree register. It would have to be one of the largest girth ed trees in Maroondah, and should be afforded maximum protection.
There is also a huge spreading oak tree on the property, which yet again should be protected as a significant mature canopy tree.
If the application is NOT for either of these trees, there is no objection.
But if it is either the mature Eucalypt or the spreading Oak, CCS objects, in principle to the removal of mature canopy trees across our region and particularly on the significant ridgeline of the Wicklow Hills.
