The Sydney blue gum tree is a highly endangered specie. There is less than 4% remaining and are only found around the area. Blue gums depend on the clay soil type from the area as well as the specific climate. We will be watching this application closely as it must be rejected. Given the seriousness and the impact this application will have on the ecosystem I will not hesitate to take this up to the the environmental authorities if not rejected.
