The

The increase in traffic for Staff Road and Callistemon Road will be significant with the increase in dwellings from the original 38 to proposed 48 lots. The roads currently can not accommodate two cars passing one another and the proposal will only add to this issue, and impact the aesthetics of the suburb. The noise and dust created from the development and associated infrastructure will negatively impact the local residents and community. This proposal should be further considered by Council to not increase the 38 lot development.

I don’t see how these 2 roads can accommodate the extra traffic 38 lots will generate let alone 48 lots..! Callistemon Road in particular is a narrow little street, Staff road is not much wider. All that extra traffic is going to be a nightmare for all - not sure how these things get proposed/ approved given the current infrastructure in place..?!?

The DA application for Tannabah lot in Waples Rd Farmborough Heights ( a few years ago) stated there would be up to 127 traffic movements a day for the 12 lot housing development. With the Staff Rd development being 3-4 times bigger, additional traffic movement will be significant and as previous people have commented, Staff and Callistemon Rd are not equipt to handle such traffic, even with the proposal of the one way road design into Callistemon and out of Staff.
( former Staff Rd resident).

With the extra traffic these houses will make the road will not be able to accomodate this.
Also what happened to keeping some greeb space for wildlife?

With the extra traffic these houses will make the road will not be able to accomodate this. This is a super busy road and turning as it is!
Also what happened to keeping some green space for wildlife?
The noise reverberates around the valley and echoes off the mountain. Being a distance away I can already hear the works. Not to mention the eyesore the buildings will be to the beautiful mountains. I can only feel for those closer to the site.
