The surrounding area has now been zoned as residential (<100m, houses building on east side of Bridgeman Road). There is a westward extension of houses along Stirling Street toward Bridgeman Road. Wouldn't a service station here be too close to the houses?

This location was zoned low-density residential. With new houses of the Grevillea Estate being built, the surrounding area is even more densely populated by residents.
Surely a service station should not be built in this residential zone? The health and safety risks from poisonous gases, noise pollution, oil leakage and groundwater contamination will have adverse and irreversible impacts on the residential community.
