If the main building is a 4 bedroom (5 people) and 2 in the granny flat the result would appear that the new home would accommodate a probable 7 people; ie; 7 vehicles (plus a possible caravan; box trailer; motor bike; jet shy) Will the development include adequate accommodation for these vehicles? Our local streets and roads are already overflowing with parked motor cars etc; and driving through the central lane has safety issues.

Hi please send submissions directly to Parramatta City Council as per https://www.cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au/development/submissions .You can do that by emailing council@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au & mentioning the DA/TA reference in the subject and the body of the email. This is because Parramatta City Council does not consider submissions that are sent via PlanningAlerts.
As an aside, according to the 2011 DCP
* dwelling houses & dual occupancies are required to have at a minimum - 1 space for dwellings less than or equal to 125m^2 , 2 spaces for dwellings equal to or great than 125m^2
* secondary dwellings - have no additional required parking spaces

Given that only 20.2% of households in 2021 declared that they owned 3 or more motor vehicles (https://profile.idnz.co.nz/parramatta/car-ownership?WebId=220&MID=10 - using census data) in North Rocks, this statement is entirely incorrect. The majority of households in North Rocks have either 1 or 2 motor vehicles.
