Description

Renewal of approximately 175 metres of water main in Webster Road, Lurnea from 147 - 119 Webster Avenue. Before we can begin pipe renewal of the water main we’ll be completing preparation works which includes a water shut down overnight on Tuesday 1 August 2023. Our night work hours are 7 pm to 6 am. In preparation for the planned water shutdown we’ll be working Friday 28 July and Monday 31 July 2023 between 7 am and 6 pm. We currently anticipate to return to start pipe renewal mid to late August 2023 and will be completing this work via pipe bursting. We anticipate this to take approximately eight weeks, weather and ground conditions permitting. Our work hours will be 7 am to 6 pm. The only work required planned in the road way will be at the intersection of Webster Road and Hillview Parade. This will require our occupation of 1 lane on each road for approximately 15 metres while we complete work within this section of the water main to be renewed. The remainder of the renewal work will be happening in the road verge and will not require occupation of any lanes of roadway. No occupation of the footpath will be required for this work.
