The reason about roots are growing and damaging the pavement is just disappointing. I wonder what is expected of a tree but to grow, including their roots. Is this really a good enough reason to kill 2 trees? Council really needs to educate residents to learn to live with nature and the importance of trees on providing clean air and reducing the urban heat effect (just to name a few benefits).
