This block had DA for a 3 storey health centre. It has now morphed into this totally outrageous monolith on a 405m2 block of land. Surely this represents a new low in what has laughingly passed for planning in Palm Beach. In a heroic attempt to massage a totally outsized building into a a standard 405m2 block the developer is once again seeking to perform more contortions to get this development to defy logic or quite likely planning requirements. This development should be reviewed for its compliance and appropriateness to requirements and area and local residents amenity.

It's difficult to understand why this Council continually abuses the so-called City Plan in favour of developer's profit and against the wishes of the local residents who wish to abide by the City Plan, not criticise or abuse it. The decision is unjustly more money for the developer. Oh, that we had a man like Ted Mack running this Council for the residents.
