I've had a look at the documentation provided. The trees are not near the house. Also the only reason given is "safety hazard". Given the location of these trees is hard to see how these trees can be a hazard. It's disappointing to see that 11 trees could be potentially removed.
Hopefully there will be native trees replacing any tree removed (if indeed there is any valid reason).
