This inappropriate development has already required the excavation of a 3 metre deep pit in solid sandstone covering the entire 1300 square metre block. Talk about over-development for eight car spaces. Not to mention the complete diversion of the Sydney Water main sewer line through the site.

Maybe the incline of the Mary Street footpath approaching Windsor Road could re-engineered as well. It already exceeded the angle set out in the SEPP for seniors. The entire development was inappropriate for the location and failed to comply in several criteria.

You can’t build town houses in R2 Low Density Residential Zones BUT the SEPP developer’s free-for-all soon fixed that for this unit block. Town planning is NSW is a complete joke. Development with no improvement to inadequate infrastructure – there is no government; only powerful lobbyists.

Submissions objecting to development applications are a waste of time and effort. Local community and resident's amenity are of no consequence when the mighty dollar is involved.
