I haven't seen such an unreasonable and to be frank silly reason to explain the removal of 3 trees. It states that the trees are producing sap and attracting insects. Well I'm not sure what can be say about this but all trees produce sap and all trees are home to insects!! Surely the council will reject this application. The owners of this property should learn the importance of trees in the area and how it benefits them and the community.

This sounds more like the resident doesn't like the leaves falling into the swimming pool. I agree with Maria, all trees produce sap and that attracts insects. That is part of our biodiversity and we need it. I hope the council rejects this application.
