That looks to be quite a good looking eucalyptus. Termites are not always damaging to trees - some build their nests in trees but forage among ground litter. A retaining wall can be rebuilt. I hope council look carefully at this application to determine if the tree really must be removed. Too many are going.

The tree is a matured tree and seems healthy. Council needs to really assess this request and a retaining wall that has cracked does not give the go ahead to kill a tree surely?
